Green Tara, also known as "The Swift One," is a female bodhisattva in Buddhism who represents compassion, protection, and swift action. She is often depicted in green color and is associated with overcoming fears and obstacles, as well as providing guidance and support on the spiritual path.
This Green Tara mala is made of lampwork, a type of glasswork that uses a torch to melt and shape glass. Once the glass is heated to a molten state, it is formed by blowing and shaping with tools and hand movements, creating unique and beautiful beads.
